Be swept away with the romance and grandeur of one of the true highlights of ASO's 2011 season on Friday 7 October, 8pm and Saturday 8 October, 6.30pm at the Festival Theatre.
The ASO's Chief Conductor, Arvo Volmer leads the Orchestra in a glorious night of music including Ravel's famous Bolero and La valse, Debussy's floating Prélude à l'après—midi d'un faune and Images: Ibéria.
Adelaide-born violinist, Sophie Rowell joins the ASO for the South Australian premiere of Brett Dean's The Lost Art of Letter Writing, a work that which won one of the world's most prestigious composition prizes, The Grawemeyer in 2009.
