Lisa Tenzin-Dolma, principal of The International School for Canine Psychology & Behaviour, talks about Emotional Intelligence (EQ) for ISCP students and graduates. Some of the private discussion about students' dogs at the end of the webinar has been edited out.

We’ve all heard of IQ, Intelligence Quotient, but EQ, Emotional Intelligence, is what enables you to relate to and understand others, make emotional connections, relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathise with others, navigate situations of social complexity, deal effectively with conflict, and overcome challenges. Until recently EQ has only been applied to humans, but as you'll discover in this presentation it is just as relevant to dogs and can help us to understand our dogs in profound ways.
