DID YOU KNOW: Good paper is made of 100% cotton. If you buy less expensive watercolor paper it has wood fibers in it and pilling will occur when scrubbing and lifting which produces a less than pleasant painting experience.

This week's Tips & Techniques Thursday's video I will discuss my personal watercolor paper recommendations. Over the course of 36+ years as an artist and instructor, teaching more than 2000 students I have tried every paper on the market. Commercially made to grassroots handmade from New Hampshire. In this video, My Favorite Watercolor Papers– What I Recommend & Use for My Paintings I will share my thoughts.

You can download a PDF of my supply list at my website. This covers all the materials I use. http://www.dalepopovich.com/instructo...
