The USA sensationally break the world record for the men's 4X100M freestyle relay at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

Michael Phelps, Garrett Weber-Gale, Cullen Jones and Jason Lezak made up the USA team as they secured the gold medal in a record 3:08.24.

Lost amidst the excitement of this race's finish was the fact that the top FIVE teams all finished well ahead of the old world record. Credit to the pool at the Water Cube for its design; countless swimming world records weren't just broken during those games, but absolutely annihilated.
