The Philadelphia Police Department's Southwest Detectives Division is looking to identify the suspect who shot an 18 year-old male in Mantua.

On January 1, 2014, at 8:46 pm, the complainant was walking in the area of 34th and Haverford Avenue when an unknown male fired several shots in his direction striking him in the buttocks but did not see the person who shot him. The complainant was transported to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was listed in stable condition. The suspect was captured on surveillance video during the shooting and was also seen with a second male who is a person of interest at this time. Suspect Description: Black male, 20 years-of-age, 6'0″, 160-170 lbs., wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, and dark colored pants. Person of interest: Black male, 20 years-of-age, 5'10″, 230-240 lbs., wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black knit hat, and dark colored pants.
