On November 20, the SBS TV program called "TV Animal Farm" exposed the horrific reality of dog fighting in Korea.

The program showed an entrenched dog fighting culture in which people watching dog fighting as a form of entertainment.

In the dog fights, dogs are not necessarily forced to kill each other. The fighting ends when there is a clear winner. But ultimately, it is still a fight to the death because the losers of dog fights very quickly end up as dog meat at restaurants.

Dogs that survive fights can sustain serious injuries and are only treated with an antibiotics injection. They do not get proper veterinarian care.

For the training, dogs are forced to run on running machines without a break. Their necks are tied to the machines, preventing any escape and forcing them to run.

The public has been shocked to see the barbaric reality surrounding the dog fighting industry. But this brutal industry cannot be stopped easily, as there is no legal basis to ban it at the moment.

Also, police ignore the problem, since it appears that there are connections between the police and people in dog-fighting industry. Typically, it is an industry involving gambling and corruption.
