EU Reporter’s on-the-ground review of the Tsinandali Festival in Georgia, which took place from 8th – 22nd September 2019 at the historical Tsinandali Estate in the country’s Kakheti Region. Founded by Georgia aristocrat, Prince Alexander Chachavadze, dubbed the ‘Father of Georgian Romanticism’, the estate has stood at the heart of Georgian culture for nearly two centuries, being the first place in the country to bottle wine and also home to Georgia’s first ever grand piano. EU Reporter’s Colin Stevens was on the ground for the opening of the festival, managing to speak to a range of figures closely involved in its creation, including Festival Director, David Sakvarelidze and Festival Co-Founder, Yerkin Tatishev, who is also Founding Chairman of Kusto Group. http://tsinandalifestival.ge/
