TATRA CHASSIS CONCEPT
The concept of a 'backbone' tube and independently swinging half-axles was first used on a TATRA passenger car in 1923. Since then it has been constantly developed and improved, and has been employed in vast numbers of different models of heavy-duty off-road TATRA trucks and vehicles, both commercial and military, operating in the most hostile environments throughout the world.

INDEPENDENT SWING HALF-AXLES
Each wheel moves up and down independently, which allows for remarkably higher speed on rough roads, quick pass over obstacles and exceptional off-road and cross-country mobility. the swing half-axles are also extremely resistant against impacts and shocks.
