Cincinnati Youth Collaborative is transforming Cincinnati, one student at a time. Meet Crizoline, who is reaching her fullest potential thanks to the mentors and role models she found through CYC.
Cincinnati Youth Collaborative (CYC) is committed to combating Cincinnati’s egregious 47% childhood poverty rate. For 30 years, CYC has collaborated with schools, businesses and volunteers throughout the community, empowering vulnerable students to overcome obstacles and graduate high school prepared to succeed. Since its founding, CYC has served more than 160,000 Cincinnati area students by placing positive adult role models in their lives. Working directly with local school districts, CYC offers comprehensive college and career preparation and success programs, as well as various mentoring platforms for individuals, groups and businesses. CYC’s unique formula has a proven success rate: over the past five years, an average of 95% of CYC senior students have graduated from high school.
