Dudley Laufman, of Canterbury, NH, received a National Heritage Fellowship in September of 2009.

For more on Dudley, see his website (www.laufman.org) and watch the accompanying video that shows the dancing and music he presented at the concert.

The clip starts with an introduction by Nick Spitzer, then goes to musicians playing Dudley's tune "Mistwold."

A separate video shows a short interview that took place with Spitzer and Dudley.

The dances include a version of the Virginia Reel (with Mistwold followed by another Dudley composition, deMartelly's). Dudley and Jacqueline join the dancers for three rounds of Money Musk before returning to Mistwold for the final promenade.

Dancers are members of Dudley's family: (Not in order of appearance) Ann Mason, Sarah Mason, Laura Gilman, Heidi King, Jacob King, Bronwen Rainaud, Nathaniel Laufman, Singwen Mientka, Windelyn Homer, Maxwell Homer.
