The morning of March 30, 2012, 17 year old Eva Lipton was a passenger in a car involved in a head-on collision with a school bus. The bus was leaving Silver Lake High School in Kingston, MA where she was a junior. Eva was airlifted to Boston Medical Center suffering multiple bones fractures and a traumatic brain injury. After multiple surgeries & 5 weeks in BMC's surgical intensive care unit, she was moved to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. Unfortunately she has been unresponsive to rehabilitation. In August Eva will be moved to a Long term care medical facility where she'll remain in a coma. Donations may be made to the Eva Lipton Benefit Fund in person or via mail at any Rockland Trust Location www.rocklandtrust.com
