This is a Time Lapse of the 2012 Lyrid Meteor Shower as seen from my back yard in Liberty, Utah.

There is a bunch of activity in the video with aircraft, satellites, the Milky Way and even the International Space Station (the arching streak at the beginning low on the horizon).

Each frame is a 50 seconds long exposure with a second in-between shots and covers the whole night from 10pm on the 21st to 5:30 on the 22nd.

First Run is at 24fps
Second Run is at 10fps
and the last is a loop of the big meteor as it streaks through the big dipper and then smokes out for a few frames.
