Bringing the first prototype PCB for the space status on air. The Sensor (RPR220) in the door lock tracks the locking bolt blocking the light path. Then the PCB leads the signal to Arduino's ADC and the Arduino changes the digital pins of the traffic-light LEDs accordingly. The green LED is connected to a Raspberry PI via a voltag bridge and the Raspi send out a Tweet and a Toot via @KSRaumStatus and @Kraut_Status@chaos.social.
FunFact: somehowe the threshold of the RPR220 IR LED was changed, even though nothing was changed. We adjusted the threshold in the Arduino code and now it works again.
