I feel sorry for Anderson Cooper there.  he was trying to have a meaningful, intelligent debate on the subject and about what this pastor said and what he got was a person who clearly didnt have any real understanding at all and was completely incapable of answering what were very simple questions.  Surely that church had someone more intelligent to at least be able to debate the issue?  What the pastor said was reprehensible but to bring on someone who clearly hasn't got a clue just made it all the more offensive.  But well done to Anderson for trying to get a meaningful conversation.
