The "Bruces" sketch features a group of stereotypical lounging Australians who are revealed to be the Philosophy Department at the fictitious University of Woolamaloo and all named Bruce, with a common fondness for beer and a hatred of "poofters". The sketch was originally featured in Episode 9 of Series 2 of "Monty Python's Flying Circus", first broadcast on 24 November 1970. It was also featured in the 2014 reunion shows at The O2, London, where it was capped with a performance of "The Philosophers' Song" (watch the lyric video here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9SqQ...)
