Penn State is being rocked by allegations of sexual abuse and a possible cover-up.

Former Nittany Lions defensive coordinator Gerald Sandusky has been charged with molesting young boys, some of whom he allegedly brought to the school's facilities from his work for The Second Mile, a foundation he established to help at-risk youngsters.

Two top university officials, athletic director Tim Curley and senior vice president Gary Schultz, have stepped down amid allegations that they lied to a grand jury and knowingly failed to report the alleged child-sex abuse to law enforcement.

The 67-year-old Sandusky was arrested Saturday and released on $100,000 bail after being arraigned on 40 criminal counts.

Attorneys for all three men say they are innocent.

Penn State's legendary head coach Joe Paterno, who recently became the coach with the most wins in Division I football history, hasn?t been implicated in any wrongdoing.
