For this edition of Bizarre Bites we went to the slammer to try some prison food from decades past. The Eastern State Penitentiary is a national historic landmark and operated from 1829 to 1971. They recently whipped out some old dishes for a tasting, giving us a peek at what prisoners were fed in the early days of the establishment. We also got to taste NutraLoaf, which is dished out in the prisons of today as punishment.
