A documentary that examines a wooded area on Ithaca, NY's west side that has for decades served as a "base camp" for the homeless and other marginalized city residents. This 2010 Theodore Case Film Festival entry by Gossa Tsegaye and David Fogel recalls an often overlooked sector of the American landscape: the hobos, beats and bohemians of yesteryear. A paean to the value of community in our increasingly electronic age.
