United Nurses of Alberta Local 115, which represents nurses at Calgary's Foothills Medical Centre, held the forum on health care issues Monday evening at the Parkdale United Church near the hospital.
More than 100 people attended the two-hour event, asking some pretty tough questions of the often feisty candidates: Manmeet Bhullar, Progressive Conservative candidate in Calgary-Montrose; Heather Forsyth, Wildrose Party candidate in Calgary-Fish Creek; David Swann, Alberta Liberal candidate in Calgary-Mountain View; Cory Mack, Alberta Party candidate in Calgary-Buffalo; and Collin Anderson, New Democratic Party candidate in Calgary-Hawkwood.
The moderator for the event was Dr. Duane Bratt, Chair of Policy Studies at Mt. Royal University.
