Here's a fun, easy and creative way to make snowflakes this holiday with your family! This could also be used in the classroom. Everyone will enjoy making this beautiful and unique snowflakes!
Happy Holidays, everyone!!

A stapler
3 sheets of blue paper
3 sheets of white paper
(optional) Glitter; preferably white

Step 1: Start by folding a sheet of paper into a triangle
Step 2: Cut off the excess paper at the bottom
Step 3: Fold the triangle again into a smaller triangle
Step 4: Cut THREE lines on the FOLDED side of the triangle. Make sure you don't cut all the way off the paper!! I usually use about half my thumb to judge how much space there should be between each cut line
Step 5: Unfold the triangle. Starting with the middle section, fold each piece over itself and tape it together. Flip the paper over, so the taped side is facing down. Then take the next section, and do the same to it as you did to the middle section. Repeat this until all 4 sections are taped together.

Repeat Steps 1 - 5 until all 6 sheets of paper are spiraly

Step 6: Once all 6 pieces of paper are finished, take a group of 3 and staple them together. The group should either be blue, white, blue or white, blue, white.
Step 7: Take the next group and staple it to the first group. Do NOT staple the 2nd group together!

You can cover your snowflake with glitter, or just hang it as is. Enjoy you're pretty new decorations, and Happy Holidays!!(:
