I recently attended a talk given by Father Gary Thomas regarding his ministry as an exorcist for the Diocese of San Jose. I met him personally and asked his permission to record what you are about to see. The video is not the best quality because I used my smartphone and I was sitting way at the back. I arrived early but the place was already packed so I have to sit almost at the back. Despite the limitations in the video recording, I got what I want which was to record what he had to say. So this is really meant to be listened to rather than to be watched.

The book, The Rite, the Making of an Exorcist, written by Matt Bagglio, a journalist, was based on the personal life and experiences of Father Thomas. This book was later made into a movie with Anthony Hopkins as the lead actor. He talked about faith, healing, family, and the importance of the sacraments. Although he is a Catholic priest, I think his talk will also appeal to Christians. But for atheists, I think they will find nothing here and may still not convince them otherwise. The entire video is 1:45 hours long and divided into seven parts. For the atheists, I have to say that it may be a waste of their time to watch and listen to this video.

Some of the questions asked by a few people during the question and answer period were very personal in nature and talked about their experiences with the supernatural. I took the liberty of deleting those parts and will just keep them to myself because I did not get their permission to record them. However, I left all the relevant responses of Father Thomas intact together with the rest of the questions asked by others which were very general in nature.
