Today's script:

No matter the time zone, it's Shacknews Daily O'clock.

Today we're going to be talking about the release date for OUYA. new details about Assassin's Creed 3 DLC "Tyranny of King Washington", and the future of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge.

It's February 6, 2013 and I'm Nikole Zivalich.

The android based wonder console, OUYA, oooyeah? Uuuuya? Whatever, it has a launch date. Consumers, like you, will be able to get your hands on the console this June. Developers have had the OUYA since last December so expect tons of rad games soon. Despite the public launch being in June, those who backed the OUYA on kickstarter, all 63,000 of you, will get the consoles in March, and pre-orders will go out in April. It might be worth noting, the OUYA's original kickstarter goal was 950,000 dollars and it ended up making over 8 and a half million. The OUYA will cost $100, and an extra $50 for another controller. It can be pre-ordered on sites like Best Buy and Amazon right now.

Assassin's Creed 3 DLC "Tyranny of King Washington" will be a three-part DLC extravaganza. If you're obsessed with alternate endings to the Revolutionary War as much as I am, then mark your calendars. We already knew Part 1 would be dropping on February 19th, the day after Presidents Day, and three days after George Washington's birthday. Coincidence? You decide. Now we know when parts 2 and 3 will be released as well. Part 2 will be called "The Infamy" and it will be released on March 19th. Part 3, called The Redemption, will be released the following month, on April 23rd. All three DLC packs will come out on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, on the same day. I'm shocked too! Ubisoft promises this content will hit the Wii U eShop, you know, eventually. Each pack will set you back $9.99, or 800 MS points, which is a small price to pay for your freedom.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge was one of the Wii U's big launch exclusives. I say WAS because it has just been revealed that Razor's Edge will be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 2. Ninja Gaiden 3 was released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 last March. It was then updated with some new mechanics and features, like Steel on Bone, which lets you cut through someone's body in slow motion. The future IS now. This updated version was renamed Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. Now, this updated version of an Xbox and PS3 game is being released on the consoles it was first released on? Am I getting that right? I'm not being a Negative Nancy, I'm just impressed with Tecmo. If you need more Ryu in your life, or just a third copy of Ninja Gaiden 3, get ready for April.

PSA Time: The latest issue of GameQ, the official magazine of GameFly, has a rad story on how American history plays out in BioShock Infinite. See, video games ARE educational. You can download GameQ for your iPhone, iPad or Android devices at gameqmagazine.com.
