I'm covering the song Heathrow from Level 42 with my freshly acquired (and since long time awaited) Roland Jupiter 6. Finally now I have this machine, I was seeking for it since about 2 years :-)

The patch I'm playing it's a very standard synth brass patch, but I like the way it sounds on the Jupiter very much.

I recorded myself the base by playing the original MIDI file with my other instruments, each doing a particular sound. More precisely:

- the opening and closing arpeggiated bass comes from the Juno 106
- the electric FM piano comes from the Yamaha SY-77
- the organ from the Nord Electro 3, with leslie manually switched while the song was playing
- other synth sounds from the D-50 and JP-8000
- The rythm, bass and saxophone from a very old Yamaha MU-80 which I found some time ago at the scrapyard (well it's not a best-quality MIDI expander, but I found pitiful leaving it in the trash).

All the synth sounds were programmed by me, except the FM piano and the stuff done by the D-50.

Hope you enjoy my video and as always sorry for my poor keyboard skills.

As usual, constructive comments are welcome :-)
