This is Gracie's first ride with a curb bit. When you are working your horse in a snaffle bit there will come a time when it is time to change up the bit. It is the same as always riding a bike with training wheels. Horses grow in their abilities and need to step up to the next level. Take the time necessary to ease your horse into a curb bit. Work in the snaffle to teach your horse to neck rein, feel your leg cues, and lean your body. All these things will help your horse to feel you so that they understand what you are asking them to do. Thank you kindly for watching.
