At the closing night of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival (June 28, 2012) UN Secretary-General ban Ki-moon's speech about the importance of human rights for LGBT people was read by UN Assistant Secretary General Ivan Simonovic. The speech was introduced by Boris Dittrich, advocacy director of the LGBT rights program at HRW. The closing night film, "Call Me Kuchu," was about LGBT rights activists in Uganda.
