I am Saikat Ghosh(from India) and my topic for Breakthrough Junior Challenge 2018 is about 'understanding light' with the help of Thomas Young's double-slit experiment.

Thomas Young's Double-Slit Experiment(in 1803) allows us to easily understand what 'Light' really is using some very basic concepts and laws of Physics. I will try to further ease your way to understand one of the most complex - yet a very 'important' aspect of our daily life - LIGHT.

Light helps us navigate through our daily life, but we have never been able to understand light the way Young's Double-Slit Experiment explained to us, I will try to further explain this experiment in an engaging way through this video.

I covered the following topics in this video:
1. Particle Nature + Wave Nature (Wave-Particle Duality)
2. Proof of concept - Thomas Young's Double-Slit Experiment
