i5 750 overclocked using standard Vcore settings and enabling Turbo Boost. This combination fully utilizes the powersaving features of the i5 (i.e speedstep, turboboost) where the CPU frequency and CPU core voltage are dynamically changed according to actual demands. This results in a very low power consumption and low temperatures when the PC has little to do, but at the same time the CPU are able to go full throttle with higher powerconsumption and temperatures when the circumstances demands it. The best of both worlds! - With the current settings this particular i5 750 will go all the way up to 4.0 GHz on one core with Vcore at 1.248 V and all the way down to 1500 MHz with Vcore at 0.848V when there is less to do, like when browsing. When all 4 cores are working at the same time the CPU frequency will settle at around 3500 MHz with Vcore at 1.168V.
