Why Do Media Moguls Screw Up? Well do they screw up? Or maybe they don't. Michael Wolff, who writes, by most accounts, the most influential column on the media, tells us tonight: he too screwed up. He has also written a book on the subject -- "Autumn of the Moguls: My Misadventures With the Titans, Poseurs, and Money Guys Who Mastered and Messed Up Big Media," and is a would-be mogul himself. He rode his Net company to its grave and, at last report, was part of a group bidding on New York magazine. As a media mogul himself (would-be), is it fair to ask whether he too screwed-up? James Goodale, former vice chairman of The New York Times, hosts. 12/17/03
