In this video you will be shown how to make a wind chime
from a children's bicycle wheel, leather belts, and old bells. I have
this hanging from a plant pot hanger attached to our house and as the
snow melts and freezes the wind chime catches the ice and is rather a
sight to behold. This would also look great in a garden setting. By

Basic Materials List:
1. Children's bicycle wheel.
2. Several old leather belts.
2. An assortment of bells. I used old carriage bells from my great
grandparents. Think about using family heirlooms for this wind chime,
also.

Basic Instructions:
1. Drill four holes in rim of wheel, each of them opposite the other
in a T pattern.
2. Cut out strips of leather in varying lengths leaving the buckle on
the longest length.
3. String the leather strip with the buckle into the middle of the
wheel and tie a know to hold it in place. This leather strip and
buckle will serve as the hanger and the holder for the largest bell.
4. Attach the rest of the leather strips to the wheel using 24 gauge wire.
5. Attach the bells to the bottom of each leather strip with the same wire.
