Prof Jamal Ara, chairperson of the Academic Council and Symposium Organising Committee of the hospital, said in a statement issued .
The symposium is being organised with the theme "Every Life Counts", which implies that no person can ever experience all that life has to offer.
Further elaborating the choice for the theme, Ara said it is only through sharing experiences, feelings and insights that we can hope to grow beyond our finite lifetime.
"The idea is to invigorate all stakeholders and make them think if they are ready to grow today," she said.
Ara said the JPMC is the pioneer medical institute of the country that has been organising its annual medical symposium since 1963.
"It is our endeavour to continue the academic and research activity and keep the torch alight and kick off the forthcoming moot by holding a plenary session after the inauguration," she added.
