Visit: www.retrodiode.com for a complete description of the various models that can be updated with LED lighting. It is important to note that only microscopes with outboard lamp housings can be used. Most advanced microscopes will have a variable (focusable) collector lens that will still be used. This system is a good alternative for those who have fine old microscopes with DOA lighting. We offer LED for fluorescence microscopy and super high intensity for darkfield illumination and situations where there is NO lamp housing available. Some microscopes will have outboard 6V15/20W lamps and built-into-the-stand collector lenses. The basic LED module can be easily adapted to many makes and models as you will see on the website. Visit buntgrp dot com in MD if you have any questions or contact the Retrodiode folks in KS. These units are typically $125.00 and sold through ebay.
