From our curator of transportation down to every car owner, there are hundreds of people ready to wow you with the creative and mechanical genius that goes into making, restoring and caring for each and every one of these mechanical marvels.
2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the powerful macho star of the 1970s, the Pontiac Firebird. GM’s response to the Ford Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro, the Firebird hit showrooms in 1967. Two years later, it was upgraded with the muscular Trans Am package. In 1973, the phoenix hood decal debuted and has become a glorious ‘70s icon affectionately known as the “screaming chicken.”
