Sinking of the Russian Nuclear-powered Submarine, Kursk, has been one the the biggest military tragedies & an equally mysterious one.

The clip, taken from a documentary, claims the Kursk Submarine was accidentally collided with an American Submarine, USS Toledo (SSN-769), which had been deployed for tailing it. Later, perceiving a threat from the Kursk which, it predicted, was about to launch the high-speed Shkval Torpedo in retaliation, another American Submarine, USS Memphis, pre-empted this move by attacking the Kursk with its own Torpedo, the Mark-48.

This theory has no official endorsement.
