So this time i called them while running Linux (antiX). Of course they couldn't connect to me via regular way (since .exe files not accepted). Then I installed TeamViewer and they connected. It took them a little bit to realize it's NOT windows. However, they still tried to prove there was malware and viruses on my computer! (They usually run NETSTAT command) But like always I confront them at the end and tell them I wasted their time and effort to scam me. Sometimes you get scammers you feel bad for, and this one was one of them...
##### Never believe in any pop-ups online that states there is a virus on your computer, never dial those numbers! Use free antivirus (like AVG) free malware scanner (like malwarebytes) free firewall (like ZoneAlarm) But don't download any free software that pop-ups offering you! #####
I like pranking these scammers and think every hour wasted of their time, another innocent person wallet/identity saved. More videos like this will put out more info about scammers and fake support calls the better chance of them failing with these scams!
