WHAT YOU NEED: jeans, scissors, pumice stone, pen, pencil, tailors chalk, pyramid studs, tweezers

HOW TO:

Cuffed shorts
1. Mark and measure how short you want your shorts to be
2. For cuffed shorts add extra length on the bottom before you cut, mark
3. Mark line straight across
4. Cut jeans at marking
5. Fold up first part of cuff and iron in place
6. Fold again and iron for finished cuff
7. Stay stitch the sides with needle and thread
8. Use pumice stone to roughen up a bit

Frayed shorts
1. Mark and measure how short you want your shorts to be
2. For cuffed shorts add extra length on the bottom before you cut, mark
3. Mark line straight across
4. Cut jeans at marking
5. Fold up first part of cuff and iron in place
6. Stay stitch the sides with needle and thread
7. Use pumice stone to roughen up a bit
8. Cut slits horizontally
9. Pull out blue threads leaving the white visible
10. Roughen up with pumice stone
11. Add pyramid studs wherever you want and fold in insides with pen or pencil
