On June 25, the U.S. Supreme Court reaffirmed its decision Citizens United v. FEC that lifted the ban on political messages by corporations. The activist left argues the decision opened up the sale of elections to corporations, but the decision is actually increasing speech and breaking up a corporate oligopoly on political speech.
