Small dam, built in 1937 to seasonally fill a small pond at nearby BSA Camp Grizzly. Pool behind dam provides swimming for USFS camp/picknic area, Laird Park on the Palouse District of the Clearwater National Forest near Harvard, Idaho. Dam is removed each Fall and returned each spring.

Most of the people involved are volunteers from a Scout Troop working under the direction of USFS Employees.
