Dr. Ellen MacEachen is a scientist at the Institute for Work & Health in Toronto, Canada. She also holds appointments as an assistant professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health as a mentor with the CIHR Work Disability Training Program, and as an academic fellow with the Centre for Critical Qualitative Enquiry, all at the University of Toronto. She is an occupational health social scientist specializing in qualitative methodology, and her current research examines how occupational health and safety systems are implemented, with a focus on return to work, labour market re-entry and experiences of injured and vulnerable workers.
