Okay everyone, here's printing 101: Shown in this video from Golden Belt Printing, Inc. is the 765 Heidelberg Windmill Letterpress Platen printing press. Printing technology from the 1930-'40's using what was called "hot type". Lead was melted then cast into text characters that were locked into a wooden "chase" for the layout. It then was attached to the platen and pressed to the paper. Hence the name "letterpress". did you notice the lead "hot type" characters were mirrored?
