Santander’s ambassadors Jenson Button and Jessica Ennis-Hill suit up as rebel alliance fighters and stormtroopers to face off on Santander Cycles. The film marks the launch of Santander Cycles new partnership with innovative cycle safety start up Blaze (www.blaze.cc).

Funded by Santander UK, as part of the commitment to improve London’s cycle hire scheme, in 2016 all Santander Cycles will be fitted with Blaze Laserlights to make them more visible to drivers and other road users.

The announcement follows a successful pilot which saw 75% of cyclists who were riding bikes fitted with a Blaze Laserlight reporting that the lights made them feel more confident.

The lights work by projecting a green laser six feet in front of the bikes to make cyclists more visible.
