Recipe:

Bamboo shoots, about 3 thinly sliced
1 lb thinly sliced beef, steak or what you prefer
2 heaping handfuls chopped napa cabbage
1 tofu block, firm
1 can straw mushrooms (we actually added more than one kind of mushroom while we cooked)
1 pkg udon noodles (the ones you find in the fridge section in most Asian grocery stores)
1/4 cup (a lil over) sake
1/4 cup (a lil over) sugar
1/4 cup (a lil over) soy sauce
