This video is a sequence of pictures depicting events in the life and death of Martin Luther.
Eisleben the home where Martin Luther was born, and where he was Baptized. Mansfield were he lived as a youth and attended the Latin School. Eisenach where he lived with the Cotta family and attended school. Erfurt where he entered the Monastery of the Augustinian Hermits. Wittenberg where he transferred to the Augustinian Monastery. Wittenberg where he preached at the Town Church. Worms where he refused to recant and Charles V made him an outlaw. Wartburg Castle (1521-2) where in a small room translated the New Testament. Eisleben where he preached his last Sermon and died in a house across the street. and in Wittenberg where he was buried in the Castle Church and also the door where he attached the Ninety-Five Theses.
