"General George Armstrong Custer died in 1876, but that doesn't mean we should forget his legacy of slaughtering indigenous peoples. That's why Republican National Committee leader and GOP lobbyist Pat Rogers has condemned New Mexico governor Susana Martinez for meeting with American Indians...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur shares his thoughts.

GOP being the GOP. The Republicans are facing a demographic nightmare where whites will no longer be the majority in this nation. Instead of a soft landing by tying to win non-whites over to their side they double down on their racism. As the speaker states we thought they were stuck in the 1950's but it seems more like the 1850's.

Inbred by definition means NOT mixed. You're using the wrong word there.

Make room for ? You know the last person who used those words.. they called it Lebensraum.

I think it was called the east indies back then, Indonesia didn't exist yet. Other than that, you're right that's where the name came from.

The GOP will stop at nothing to prove once and for all that they are the party of evil and hate ALL minorities. Good job, bastards.

Nowadays you just can't tell anymore. Plenty of people who say such things and mean it.

I agree. I don't think it's gonna change anytime soon though unfortunately cuz politicians don't give a (F) about what makes sense.

Ironically I have an American West history course this semester and I can tell you George Custer made a huge mistake in trying to assault the Indians at a base where they had about 2,500 occupants and died when the Indians were DEFENDING themselves from death. It was like old school Stand Your Ground.
