Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico in September 2017. Maria was estimated to have caused in excess of $100 billion in damages. FEMA contracted MAG Aerospace with rotary wing support in restoring Puerto Rico’s electrical infrastructure. With less than 8 hours alert from FEMA, MAG transported 113 dialysis patients from Puerto Rico to Miami, FL mere hours before hurricane Maria caused the island-wide loss of power. In total, MAG was contracted over 3,000 flight hours and assisted in restoring power to more than 250,000 homes. Serve. Win. Perform.
