This is a piano only version of Falling Away with you by Muse.
This is yet another underrated muse song, possibly because it's eclipsed by the fury and uplifting nature of Stockholm Syndrome before being followed by the brooding and menacing Hysteria.
To quote Matthew Bellamy, this song is about "past relationships." It's tone is rather deafeatist, and - fitting in with the theme of Absolution - it's about all this sentimental regret over the way something beautiful had to end.
The amazing lyrics, the beautiful and dissonance-inducing intro, and the heart-screaming chorus produce such a grip over me.
"Staying awake to chase a dream, tasting the air you're breathing in I hope I won't forget a thing Promise to hold you close and pray; Watching the fantasies decay
nothing will ever stay the same
All of the love we through away
All of the hopes we cherished fade...
This is just a demo as I feel I still need to improve this.
