Part 1 of an 18-minute documentary I made in 1998 in Toronto exploring creative urban cultures in the context of homelessness and risk. It documents an outdoor art festival called Planet Struck, produced by with and for at risk youth in Toronto by me and my great friend Dave Redfern of Mushroom Enterprises. It was held outside beneath the Bathurst St. viaduct near Lakeshore in Toronto. This video features Toronto's very best breakdancing, MCing and graffiti circa 1998, as well as powerful street theatre by Cobblestone Youth Theatre, songs, rants and much more.
