One of the best recordings to come out of the British Invasion of 1964 was Cilla Black's "You're My World. " Originally written in Italian, English lyrics were created by the noted American lyricist, Carl Sigman. "You're My World," recorded on the Parlophone label, reached number 1 in Britain and number 26 in the United States in 1964. Cilla Black (Priscilla White) was a cloakroom attendant at the Cavern Club in Liverpool when she was discovered by John Lennon. She went on to become one of the most successful female performers in the UK. I do not own the right to the song, audio, or images contained in this video. The sound recording is administered by EMI. No copyright infringement is intended. This purpose of this upload is for viewer enjoyment and education not for monetary gain. I dedicate this song to Leona.
