Rimvydas Bartkus, or as he is well known in USA as Ray Bartkus, is one of the most popular illustrators in the U.S. After university's graduation in Lithuania he emigrated to the States and has lived there for the past 22 years.
Currently he is illustrating for The New York Times, Harper's, The Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek, and Los Angeles Times. Ray also illustrates books is a designer of Lithuanian 50 Litas banknote. His works are displayed in the National Portrait Gallery in the U.S. and in the Lithuanian Museum of Art.
