That really saved me a lot of effort in actually translating the song (since the translation on that page is absolutely stellar). That being said, I changed one or two lines slightly because I felt they could be revised, but all in all I left the translation as is.

Translation Notes:
• In case you're really Touhou un-savvy, a youkai is a mythical/spiritual creature in Japanese folklore. Nitori is a kappa. Kappa are youkai. Connect the dots please. Anyway, this explains why Nitori hasn't aged at all by the end of the video.
• At the end, the line 夜にとり残された (Yoru ni Tori Nokosareta) is a play on words in that にとり (ni Tori) is part of "left behind" but happens to also be pronounced the same as Nitori's name.
