This video shows how software for games, in this case "The Sims" from Electronic Arts, can be used as a research tool for intelligent environments work. This video shows a series of demonstrations in which "The Sims" is used to illustrate control of remote objects, work in accelerated time (fast-wind on a day) and the operation of embedded-agents (in a television). This work was completed at Essex University by Marc Davies supervised by Vic Callaghan.
